This Sig Sauer P227 TACOPS Elite started its life off in a cardboard box like many other firearms from Sig Sauer. It was then taken, stripped, Cerakoted in elite series “concrete”. All controls were Cerakote in elite series “blackout”, including the hand fitted adjustable flat trigger from Bruce Gray. All internals such as firing pin, ejector, locking block, sear etc. were hand polished and returned to factory tolerances via NP3 coating (nickel-teflon) for extreme durability and ultimate glass break trigger feel.

Once all the parts were back from coating, we then hand fitted and tuned this gun for a trigger that is sub 1.75lbs in single action and 4.75lbs in double action. The short reset trigger in single action is less than 1/64 of an inch. All safety features have been retained, including the de-cocker. The factory 14rd magazines have been “tuned” and springs replaced to remedy the known 14rd magazine feeding issues these guns were known for.

This firearm has been discontinued by Sig Sauer in 2019 and has become extremely rare to see an example in stock form. This is our take on the P227 TACOPS had Sig Sauer decided to make a legion version of this gun. 50 rounds have been fired on this gun during trigger tuning, it has been cleaned and stored in climate controlled showroom after.
