Questions, answered
Do I need an appointment?
Yes. We're open 8 AM to 4:30 PM, seven days a week, by appointment only, so you get our full attention. Call (775) 471-9010 to book.
Where are you located?
4840 E Navajo Blvd, Pahrump, NV 89061, in Nye County, about an hour west of Las Vegas.
Can you handle my online gun purchase (FFL transfer)?
Yes. We'll get our FFL to the seller. Call the shop before shipping to confirm receiving arrangements. Standard FFL transfer service is $50 with a valid qualifying Nevada CCW permit; the Nevada state background-check fee is waived. Without that permit, the service is $50 plus the $25 Nevada state background-check fee, for a $75 total. If you ship a firearm without calling the shop first, the no-contact transfer rate applies instead: $100 total with qualifying NV CCW, or $100 plus the $25 state fee without CCW ($125 total). NFA paperwork, shipping and any applicable taxes are confirmed separately. Bring valid government-issued photo ID and your permit if claiming the exemption. ATF Form 4473 is still required.
What does a suppressor tax stamp cost now?
$0. Since January 1, 2026, the federal NFA tax on suppressors, short-barreled rifles and shotguns, and AOWs is $0 (machine guns and destructive devices are still $200). ATF enforcement guidance changed on October 9, 2026. Federal and state requirements must be checked separately.
Are you veteran-owned?
Yes. Regular Dude Defense is combat veteran-founded, owned and operated, and recognized as a service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB).
What licenses do you hold?
We're a Type 07 Federal Firearms Licensee (manufacturer) with Class 2 Special Occupational Tax status, which lets us manufacture and deal in NFA items such as suppressors.
